Join Westwood College in Giving Back During the Holidays

Westwood College Gives BackAt Westwood, we believe in partnering with our students to give back to the communities that surround our campuses, and this spirit of giving is especially prominent during the holiday season. Our campuses and students participate in various ways for various causes, but all do so with lots of holiday spirit. We applaud our students, faculty and staff who give their time to help others. Here are some ways you can get involved with the campus in your community.

Northlake Campus – Atlanta, GA

  • The Criminal Justice Club is holding a canned food drive benefiting a homeless shelter in Atlanta through Dec. 20.

Anaheim Campus – Anaheim, CA

  • This year, Westwood’s Anaheim campus will be collecting donations for Toys for Tots through Dec. 20.
  • The Los Angeles Anaheim campus partnered with the Second Harvest Food Bank of Orange County for a Thanksgiving food drive.

Denver South Campus – Denver, CO

  • Students and faculty made Thanksgiving turkey baskets for students who needed a little help putting a meal on the table for the holiday.

Denver North Campus – Denver, CO

  • For every potential new student the admissions team interviews, the department will donate a teddy bear to patients at Children’s Hospital Colorado.

Los Angeles Campus – Los Angeles, CA

    The Los Angeles campus is collecting donated clothing that will be distributed to families on Skid Row during the holiday season.
  • The campus is also currently collecting toys to donate to Midnight Mission to distribute to families in need during the Christmas holiday.
  • Volunteers will serve lunch to the homeless at Midnight Mission Dec. 6 and Jan. 25.
  • The campus collected enough food to prepare 500 sack lunches that were distributed on Skid Row to families in need on Thanksgiving.

Chicago River Oaks Campus – Calumet City, IL

  • Admissions team hosting a season-long canned food drive through Dec. 20.

Chicago DuPage Campus – Woodridge, IL

  • The DuPage campus hosted a craft fair and toy drive Dec. 7, supporting Toys for Tots and Women in Need, a local charitable organization. Attendees also received a free family portrait with Santa.
